Let's be honest with ourselves, Kong put up on hell of a fight, but putting aside Legendary's contract with Toho that prevents Godzilla from outright losing, Kong never really stood much of a chance against this version of Godzilla. Without the axe or the Beast Glove later on, Kong doesn't have any solid advantages against him. Godzilla is stronger, compatible with more types of terrain, more durable and has more range thanks to his atomic breath, while Kong's dexterity is the only thing he has over him. But despite all of that, Kong fought well enough to earn Godzilla's respect, which is something not many Titans can claim to have accomplished

Im a Kong fan, and i agree that Godzilla is stronger, and more powerful than Kong it's a fact. But people downplaying Kong are wrong. Kong put up an amazing fight against Zilla considering how overloaded Zilla is compared to Kong. Also for the people that keep saying if not for humans Kong would have been dead, umm did we forget how Ghidorah nearly killed Godzilla if not for Mothra Sacrifice? Or when Zilla was dying and the human had to sacrifice himself to set off the nuclear bomb just to recharge Zilla? Long story short, when Zilla faced Ghidorah he lost because he was out matched, but still managed to put up a good fight. Same thing with Kong vs Zilla, Kong was outmatched but still put up a good fight. 5:20 win, or lose that was an epic scene.

This is something I do not understand, how is it that a Kaiju Android like Mechagodzilla who was built by Mankind on Earth, strong enough to fight Godzilla in a Beatdown even while getting Handicapped by Kong, Mechagodzilla could even be as Powerful than King Ghidorra who was an Alien Kaiju from somewhere in outer space.
